Handle errors by their cause, without masking problems with automatic retries.
Select a failure condition to see the recommended handling. These are common HTTP conventions; inspect your configured endpoint’s error details before choosing a retry behavior.
Invalid request
A required field is missing, a parameter is unsupported, or an input format is invalid.
What to do
Validate the request and check the selected model's supported parameters. Fix the payload before trying again.
Keep retries under control
Apply retries in one orchestration layer with a maximum number of attempts and a total deadline. Independent retries in several layers can multiply traffic and make failures harder to diagnose.
Capture useful diagnostics
Log the request ID, model identifier, status, duration, and attempt number. Redact credentials and sensitive content. Make user-facing errors clear without exposing internal details.
